The Cavapoo is an intentional cross, not a kennel-club breed with a single written standard. Two dogs from the same pairing can differ in size, coat, and temperament, because each puppy inherits a different mix of traits from the contributing breeds. When a Poodle is one of the parents, the coat may be curly, wavy, or straight, and low shedding is not guaranteed.

The Cavapoo is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel crossed with a Poodle, usually Miniature or Toy. Size stays small to medium. The coat is wavy or curly. Color may be apricot, Blenheim, tri, or black.
Grooming is required. Low shedding is possible, not promised. They are popular companion dogs and still need training and company. Curly coats mat at the skin if they are not brushed.
