- Description:
- The Picardy Spaniel is a French pointing spaniel from Picardy, used on birds in field and wetland. It is a close relative of the Blue Picardy Spaniel. The UKC classes it as a Gun Dog.
- Temperament:
- These spaniels are typically gentle, people-oriented, and eager to hunt. They need field work or long walks. A bored Picardy Spaniel will find water or a scent trail.
- Training:
- Use quiet, consistent training. Start pointing and retrieving work early.

- Brush the feathering weekly and dry the ears after swimming.
