- Description:
- The Porcelain, or Chien de Franche-Comte, is a French pack hound from the Franche-Comte, used on hare and deer. The white coat is said to look like porcelain. The UKC classes it as a Scenthound.
- Temperament:
- These hounds are typically gentle at home and determined on a scent. They have a carrying voice and need more running than a short walk.
- Training:
- Train the recall early and use a long line.
- Care & Grooming:
- Wipe the short coat and clean the long ears after work.

- Low.
- Health:
- The breed is generally hardy. Ear infections are the issue most often seen after field work. White skin can sunburn.
